We believe privacy is a right, not a feature. Here is exactly what Memories does — and doesn't do — with your data.
Memories is a fully offline app. Your data never leaves your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no access to anything you store in the app.
Memories is a personal milestone tracker built by YPM Infotech. It helps you preserve and celebrate life's most important moments — anniversaries, birthdays, career milestones, and more — entirely on your device.
All data is stored locally using Android's secure sandboxed storage. Nothing is transmitted. We store:
When you enable notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device for your milestones. These are generated entirely on-device — no data is sent to any server to deliver them. You can disable notifications at any time from Settings.
The app may request access to your photo gallery to let you set a profile picture. The selected photo is copied into the app's private sandboxed storage on your device and is never transmitted, shared, or accessible to other apps.
You can export your data as an AES-256 encrypted .memories file and save or share it at your discretion. This file is entirely under your control — we have no access to it and cannot decrypt it.
All app data is stored in Android's sandboxed app storage, inaccessible to other apps without root access. Exported backup files are AES-256 encrypted. Since no data is transmitted over a network, there is no network-level exposure.
Memories is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since no data is collected at all, there is inherently no risk of children's data being misused.
